A promising House of Representatives member, Hon. Shehu Nicholas Garba (Sarkin-Noma) who is representing Jema’a and Sanga LGAs of Kaduna state has send a warm and encouragement message to Christians Faithfuls as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ today which is known as Easter Sunday.
In his message he urges all Christians to embrace each other, pray together and have a deep reflection on the oneness and interdependence of the human race. Read his message below.
May I, on the occasion of Easter Celebration, wish our Christian Faithfuls peace and Joy of the season.
As we celebrate at this time of unprecedented health challenge, occasioned by the Corona Pandemic, may we use the period for prayers and deep reflection on the oneness and interdependence of the human race. As race, geography, religion status and other differences have not define the spread of this disease, may our common humanity galvanize us to do everything we can to slow down the spread and ultimately defeat this scourge.
May the sacrificial life of Christ, as exemplified by this season, reminds us of the imperative of personal sacrifice for the common good of all.
