In a press release made available to newsmen in Kafanchan today, 1st April, 2020. He commended the lockdown measure taken by government and calls on the citizens to abide by the directives and remain hopeful but careful and prayerful.
He lamented that “the best hospitals in the country are not located in the rural areas, rather, urban areas leaving a great proportion of Nigerians at the mercy of God” maintaining good hygiene and avoiding crowded areas will help alot.
He advised students preparing for WASSCE, NECO SSCE and other examinations not to abandon their books, rather, study hard and remain peaceful.
“Youths and even the elderly should find a way of exercising their bodies at home to avoid boredom and depression.” He concluded by advising that ” distribution of relief materials to cushion the effect of the lockdown must not be politicised or diverted for selfish gains.”
