Hon. Samuel Meshi handed over six hundred bags of rice (one truck) to legislatures representing the eleven electoral wards in Akwanga. Hon. Meshi charged them to be honest in the sharing formula following the laid down procedure in the distribution process.
The provision of the food to the needy is to curtail hunger during this period of luckdown amidst Covid 19 pandamic.
Speaking at the venue of the event, Honorable Commissioner of Commerce, Trade and Investment, Obadiah Boyi thanked Governor Abdullahi A Sule of Nasarawa state for the kind gesture in reaching the downtrodden.In the same vein, Hon. Yakubu Kwanta SA to the Governor who expressed delight called on the legislatures to ensure the food item reached the target audience.
