With savings from her monthly N19,800 as a Corps member, and others, Shammah Uwayi, financed a borehole project in Kanja, a community in Wamba local government area of Nasarawa State.
Uwayi (aka Beauty) who serves at the Nigerian Defence Headquarters (DHq) is a graduate of Geography Education from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK).
The community of over a hundred persons now have a source of potable water.
A generator was also donated by the Corps member to make water readily available.
The project has been completed and currently providing potable water for the residents.
