President Muhammadu Buhari’s son, Yusuf, joined several other youth corps members to celebrate the completion of the mandatory one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
Yusuf is believed to have received his NYSC discharge certificate in Abuja after he reportedly finished his service at the orientation camp in Kubwa, Abuja.
In the photo currently circulating on the internet, Yusuf is seen posing with a friend as he shows off his discharge certificate, fully kitted in the NYSC uniform.
The son of the president commenced the NYSC programme two years after graduating from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom.
In enrolling for the youth service in 2018, Yusuf Buhari joined the league of wealthy and influential kids who continue to prove to many people that serving the nation is meant for everyone regardless of status or class. Yusuf, whose social media presence is not strong, was the topic of discussion in 2017 after his infamous motor bike accident that left him hospitalized after suffering multiple injuries as a result of the crash.
