Mr. President in one of his tweets from his verified tweeter handle on Wednesday, 10th January, 2018 at exactly 7:28am has clearly defended the Fulani herdsmen saying that they’re carrying out the killings of people in defense of themselves and their animals from bandits or thieves.

“Fulani’s are only defending themselves from the thieves, allow the security agencies to look into the matter”.
