Embattled Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe has resigned from office after more than three decades in office.
His resignation sparked jubilation on the streets of the capital Harare and across the country.
He has been under immense pressure to leave office or face consquences.
Zimbabweans under 30 have known Mugabe all their lives.
His resignation comes after prolonged constitutional tension amidst moves to ease his wife Grace Mugabe into office as his vice president and later replace him.
