Yesterday, the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, lost his first son, Jide.
According to reports, Jide suddenly collapsed and died from what was suspected to be a heart attack around 9 pm on Tuesday.
Jide was reportedly rushed down to hospital on Lagos Island where he was confirmed dead on arrival.
Reactions to the death were swift. Governors Aminu Masari (Katsina), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto) and other dignitaries visited Asiwaju Tinubu at his Abuja home yesterday before the former Lagos State governor left for Lagos.
