American-born Kenyan singer, Victoria Kimani has said that she couldn’t wait to be free from her record label, Chocolate City and move forward without them. She said this after accusoing the label of failing to support her adequately.
In a gram post, Victoria Kimani said that her debut album, “Safari” which was released in 2016 would be her last project with the label.
She wrote, “Mann “these labels got me feelin independent!!!!” But still I keep pushing cuz greater is HE that is in me than he that is in the world.
“SAFARI is my last project with @choccitymusic …. Excited about what’s NEXT!,” she wrote.

The singer has been with Choc City since 2012 and she enjoyed a considerable level of success with the label.
