The Super Falcons have moved up to the 34th position in the latest FIFA world rankings.
Nigeria amassed 1,613 points in the rankings released on Friday, to maintain their place as the highest-ranked country in Africa.
Cameroon, who lost to the Falcons in the final of the 2016 African Women Championship they hosted, are 47th on the rankings and Equatorial Guinea are 50th.
In the overall rankings, Germany has replaced USA as the number one team.
It is the first time since March 2015 that USA has been replaced at the top.
