Public schools in Taraba are on the verge of transforming their battered image, as members of the Executive Council of the state have made an approval for the immediate recruitment of three thousand teachers.
The development is part of the implementation of the recent ban lift on employment into the civil service.
Briefing journalists shortly after their meeting which took place at the government house yesterday in Jalingo, the state capital, the commissioner of education, Johaness Jigem along side his counterparts from the Ministry of Justice, Yusuf Akirinkwen and the Head of Service, Simon Angyu, said the approval was relevant in addressing the present predicaments of public schools.
