Cristiano Ronaldo with his massive investments in Hotel business, museums, clothing line, major endorsements and his mammoth salary at Real Madrid is supposed to have been named the World’s most valuable player for 2016/2017, but according to a new report released by CIES Football Observatory, Neymar is the most valuable player in Europe – worth about £216m followed by 5 other players before Ronaldo.
The player’s value have been calculated using a transfer value algorithm that uses criteria such as player performance, characteristics, age and length of contract.
